When you use CareerOS, we collect the information you provide directly to us, including your resume, job preferences, and account details. We also collect usage data to improve our services, such as feature interactions and error reports. If you upload a resume, we extract and analyze the content to generate career insights, job matches, and recommendations.

Your resume is uploaded securely via encrypted transmission (TLS). We store resume data temporarily to generate your career report and job matches. Resume content is retained only as long as necessary to provide our services. You may delete your account and associated data at any time from your account settings. We do not sell or share your resume data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We continuously monitor our systems for vulnerabilities and unauthorized access.

CareerOS uses artificial intelligence to analyze resumes, generate career reports, match jobs, and provide recommendations. AI-generated insights are probabilistic and based on patterns in data — they are not guarantees of employment outcomes, salary levels, or career success. We recommend using CareerOS insights as one of many inputs in your career decision-making process. AI outputs may contain inaccuracies; please verify critical information independently.

We use trusted third-party services for hosting, payment processing, analytics, and AI model inference. These providers are bound by data processing agreements that limit their use of your data to providing services on our behalf. We do not share personally identifiable information with AI model providers in a way that could identify you outside of CareerOS.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Upon deletion, we remove your personal information from our active systems within 30 days. Some anonymized, non-identifiable data may be retained for analytics and service improvement purposes.
